Flat-Fee:
Most matters related to patent and trademark prosecution are routinely handled on a fixed-fee arrangement.
Hourly:
Certain matters, such as strategic counseling, are best handled by an hourly arrangement. We will not incur such hourly charges without first providing you with a good-faith estimate and obtaining your prior approvals to proceed.
If Dewey & LeBoeuf were still around and I still worked there, my hourly rate would be about $700/hour in 2016. We focus on efficiency and effectiveness to address client needs and offer competitive hourly rates as compared to our peer firms.
Contingency:
Certain matters, such as the representation of a small entity or individual inventor as plaintiff in a patent infringement litigation, may be handled on a contingency fee basis.
